Peggy Halsor

Peggy Halsor, Realtor for Century 21 M&M Turlock-Main St, serving clients in Turlock, Ceres, Patterson, Hughson, Denair, Delhi and the surrounding areas. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI).

Currently Peggy works with asset managers at Bank of America and Chase to sell bank owned properties (REO's), coordinates Short Sale and 1031 Exchange transactions. Halsor is a patient problem solver who loves working with people, especially first time home buyers.

With ten years in the banking industry and two years with a title company,  Peggy has a working knowledge of real estate financing, and first hand insight into the escrow process. After moving from Southern California to Northern California, Halsor became one of the first real estate ‘assistants’ in the area at that time, and eventually obtained her real estate license.

At the tender age of 18, Peggy purchased her first home, and over the years she has purchased and flipped over 14 properties, and currently owns several rental properties. Even before her career in real estate, she had several of these projects under her belt which has given her an understanding of real estate from the client’s point of view.

In 2003, Halsor became a full time agent, and with her background in banking, escrow and real estate assisting, she confides that she is probably one of the few people who enjoys paperwork.

“I enjoy working with people, being outside and I like looking at homes. I feel like I have the best of everything. I don’t have an assistant and I run all my escrows myself,” she says. “There really isn’t an aspect of this career that I don’t enjoy.”

Peggy’s parents taught her to work really hard, give it your all, respect others and treat people the way you want to be treated. This work ethic translates over into how she treats her clients.

“When I’m in a transaction I ask myself what it is I would like to know and that’s how I work with my clients,” says Halsor. “I am sensitive to their needs and emotions and communicate with them continually and strive to provide exceptional services.”

In fact, the aspect of her real estate career that gives Peggy the most pleasure is the personal friendship she develops with clients. She says “My clients become friends for life and that is personally rewarding and enriching part of what I do.”
